About SignBridge

Connecting Communities Through Deaf Culture Awareness

You’re in a brightly-lit, open-space community center. There are areas where Deaf people share their hobbies, interests, talents, skills, and knowledge with Deaf and hearing audiences. There are spaces for performances, collaborative art projects, classes, and exhibitions.

There are spaces where Deaf people can both access and provide skilled services in their language. The collective efforts of this organization have created a city-community where Deaf needs are met, and where hearing people appreciate Deaf language and culture.

Take Action

Beliefs That Guide Our Mission

We champion language access, mutual learning, and community inclusion — ensuring Deaf and hearing individuals connect, communicate, and thrive together in an accessible, respectful environment.

Language Access for All

Everyone deserves a chance to express themselves and be understood. We strive to provide total communication access for everyone, whether they use sign language, spoken language, or alternative communication modalities.

Mutual Learning and Support

We know that the skills and talents of Deaf and hard-of-hearing people too often go unappreciated, and that there are many people in the hearing community who want to support Deaf individuals better, but don’t know where to begin. These problems can solve each other.

Improved Community Access

With some adjustments, any business canbecome more Deaf-friendly for staff and customers. Accessibility and accommodation doesn’t always have to be difficult or expensive. When business are receptive to Deaf people willing to show the way to greater inclusion, everyone wins.
